Virtual Assistant: Smarter Conversation Analysis with AI – VDAB
VDAB counselors face increasing challenges: limited time with clients, heavy administrative workloads, and significant language barriers—one in three clients is a non-native speaker. At the same time, client conversations are becoming more complex, demanding higher-quality information and more efficient follow-up.
To address these issues, we are developing an AI-powered Virtual Assistant that records and analyses client–counselor interactions. The system automatically captures key details, significantly reducing administrative effort while enriching the information available to counselors.
While counselors remain in control, the Virtual Assistant offers clear benefits: real-time translation to bridge language gaps and improving client interaction, instant summaries to speed up follow-up actions, clear guidance on what belongs in official reports versus confidential notes, and intelligent suggestions for next steps. It also ensures continuity by retrieving and presenting relevant notes from previous meetings. Our objective is to ease administrative burdens and elevate service quality by ensuring accurate, consistent data capture and delivering actionable insights that empower counselors to focus on what matters most—the client.
